I too, have times where I don't go out to take photos, so I focus on the activity first and take a camera with me. I may go cycling and that's the focus of my day, but I usually end up taking photos. Here in Colorado the crowds can make finding inspiration and enjoying the outdoors difficult.

I agree with you on the crowd sizes. It so hard to get away from it all and being outside isn't what it used to be.
