𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱

I had shot at this location once before, but I wanted to try again hoping for better conditions this time around. I left the house at 3:45am and it was lightly raining, but when I arrived about 45 minutes before sunrise, the rain had let up, but the sky was still looking moody and dramatic. There wasn’t much of a sunrise this particular morning, but I was treated to some beautiful low clouds drifting through the scene which for me is definitely more interesting than a totally clear, blue sky.

The walk in took me along some old, abandoned railway tracks, and on the way, I passed an osprey nest. I paused for a while, watching them guard their nest and fish nearby. I didn’t get any photos worth keeping because wildlife photography isn’t really my strong suit, but it was still a lovely moment to witness.
